Terms & Conditions apply to the travelers availing the services of Transforming Travels

  1. Group members are expected to be respectful towards each other, our hosts, drivers, hotel staff, group leader, or any person who’s involved in delivering the experience to the participants. We are strictly against any verbal and non-verbal abuse in a loud or low voice. The group leader reserves the full right to ask a participant to leave the group at any point if such behavior is shown. We shall not be liable to give any refund or make your arrangements for the forward journey.
  2. Please note that we neither assign any seats in the vehicle nor do we take any special requests for that. Be it a first seat, window seat, or the last seat, we expect participants to be flexible with their choice considering it’s a group tour and support each other.
  3. Anyone suffering from mobility impairment, illness, or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or mental condition, must declare the true nature of such condition at the beginning of the event. Failure to make such disclosure will result in such persons being excluded from the event in which case all monies paid will be forfeit.
  4. Transforming Travels shall not be held responsible for the loss of any personal belonging or, for any injury (even death), fatal or non-fatal, incurred by the participant during the event. It will be our endeavor to provide every possible help, medical or non-medical, to the participant. However, any expenses/loss incurred must be borne by the concerned participant or his/her family.
  5. The laws and customs of the areas we visit can be very different from those we are used to. Be aware of your actions to ensure that they do not offend, especially if you are visiting religious areas. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with and respect local laws and customs. If you fail to do so, we will have no liability to you for any cost, loss, or damage you suffer nor will we refund you the cost of any unused portion of your travel arrangements.
  6. The job of a Group Leader is to manage the trip. He/She is the primary contact person during the trip, between participants and the local service providers to ensure a smooth execution of the trip. They have to look after all the backend coordination to ensure everything goes as per the plan. They have to brief the itinerary and timings to all the participants during the trip.
  7. The Group Leader is different from Local Guide, but they supervise the local guide. Hence, don’t expect trip leaders to know local history, geography, etc. as their sole job is to manage the tour. You can always ask such questions from the local guide. Please also understand that Group Leader isn’t supposed to carry anyone’s luggage, give wake-up calls in the morning, place your order in restaurants, etc. Your cooperation with the trip leader plays a huge role in making a trip successful.
  8. There shall be no changes in the itinerary or any stays as long as there are no unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions involved. Group Leader has the right to change the itinerary considering the best favorable option for the entire group.
  9. Transforming Travels further reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary and change the hotel, provided, the hotel is of the same category as specified at the time of booking of the Tour and the itinerary delivers what was originally promised. Transforming Travels further undertakes to provide all facilities and/ or inclusions committed to you at the time of booking of the Tour.
  10. Transforming Travels would not be held responsible for the occurrence of any of the following circumstances during or before the commencement of the Tour and any extra costs occurring due to these are to be borne by you:
    1. Any rioting, violence in the area or the impending threat of violence. Any acts of God, like heat wave, cold wave, heavy rain, floods, landslides, earthquakes, extreme bad weather etc.
    2. Any delay or cancellation of flights, ferry, trains, bus, etc.
    3. Personal emergency, medical problem, sickness, physical inability to manage with the itinerary or any other such matter. Such an inability shall not affect/ delay the rest of the group on the Tour per se.
    4. Lost luggage, loss of personal belongings and/ or theft, etc.
    5. Incorrect visas or tickets done by the client or failure by the client to purchase the same
  11. The Booking Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any litigation arising under or concerning these Booking Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kurukshetra, Haryana.
