About the Tour

Do you want to experience the European vibes during the Christmas season without causing a big hole in your pocket? Flirt with different cafes and Christmas markets while experiencing the best of Azerbaijan with us during the year end!

Embarking on a journey to Azerbaijan unveils a symphony of experiences that seamlessly weave together ancient history, modern innovation, diverse landscapes, warm hospitality, and a vibrant cultural tapestry. Did you know that Azerbaijan is also known as the “Land of Fire”? The natural gas seepages keep igniting fires, as seen in Yanar Dag, a continuously burning mountain of natural gas. This phenomenon, along with historical fire worship, inspired the nickname

Did you know that the world’s very first oil well was drilled in Azerbaijan, in 1846, inaugurating the country’s prolific oil industry?

In the capital city of Baku, the skyline is a mesmerizing blend of old and new, where the UNESCO-listed Old City, with its labyrinthine streets, historic mosques, and palaces, coexists harmoniously with the contemporary marvels like the Flame Towers and the futuristic Heydar Aliyev Center. This architectural duality reflects Azerbaijan’s ability to embrace its rich past while propelling itself into the future. The cityscape, particularly along the Caspian Sea, transforms as the sun sets, creating a captivating play of lights that makes Baku one of the most photogenic cities globally.

Roaming around in the Nizami street of Baku and flirting with cafes, brands, & street performances gives a true European vibe (that too on a budget), and makes a tourist wish to keep coming back to Azerbaijan.

A trip to Azerbaijan is incomplete without visiting Gabala, which is beautifully nestled amidst the lush greenery of Azerbaijan’s Caucasus Mountains.

The landscape of Gabala is a verdant paradise, with rolling hills, dense forests, and pristine lakes. The ecstasy of visiting Tufandağ for cable car rides, Nohur Lake, and Yeddi Gozel Waterfall is undeniable!

Shahdag is another popular hill station in Azerbaijan and it transforms into a snowy wonderland with pristine slopes, and majestic mountain views. Frost-covered trees and a serene atmosphere create a perfect winter retreat. Did you know that you have the option to experience the Shahdag Coaster located at a height of  1430 meters above sea level, 2590 meters route length offering 9 sharp turns which gives an adrenaline rush like nothing else? Along with Shahdag Coaster, you can also experience many more snow activities such as skiing, sledging, snowboarding, etc.

Apart from offering UNESCO World Heritage sites, culture & tradition, metropolitan cities, pretty hill stations, and European vibes, Azerbaijan is also home to captivating mud volcanoes! These geological wonders are scattered across the country region, with some of the most famous ones located in the Gobustan area, about 70 kilometers southwest of Baku. Did you know that out of the world’s roughly 1,500 mud volcanoes, about half are found in Azerbaijan? The mud volcanoes of Gobustan create a surreal lunar landscape, with bubbling mud pools and cones spewing out mud and gases. These mud volcanoes are not only fascinating sites to visit but also contribute to scientific research, providing insights into geological processes and the Earth’s crust.
