Around the midst of calming lakes, painted with pleasing colors also known as the water temple, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is a scenic beauty floating on a water body. It’s situated on the banks of Lake Bratan, in the Bedugul mountains. A typical square layout with three courtyards, each one serving a different purpose. There are around nine different temples dedicated to different significant gods and goddesses in the compound with absolutely stunning landscape and a variety of floral species. It is one of the most important temples of Bali.
Bali Twin-Lakes viewpoint overlooks the mesmerizing Tamblingan Lake and Buyan Lake in Munduk. Located in the mountainous region, it offers picturesque scenery. It’s indeed an instagram-worthy shot as well for those who couldn’t control their excitement to have a glimpse of the entire settlement.
Handara Gate is the most iconic place in Bali. Located in the village of Pancasari, on the Bedugul highlands, it is situated above 1400 meters altitude above sea level. Uluwatu means ‘something of divine origin’, is one of Bali’s nine key directional and also the most spectacular temples. Located on a cliff about 70 m above sea level, it is known for its distinctive architecture. Initially found to be a small temple resting on a big rock structure, it was later expanded by a Javanese sage, Empu Kutaran during the 11th century. It is termed as in between heaven and Earth as it touches the clouds in the sky while the waves dance down at the bottom. The name itself is the perfect justified explanation to the temple.
The Kecak dance is a traditional Balinese dance that originated in the 1930s as a form of Balinese art and culture. It’s a vibrant and visually captivating cultural experience that showcases the rich artistic traditions of Bali. Kecak dance often depicts scenes from the Hindu epic, Ramayana. In some variations of, a fire dance is also incorporated where the performers dance on hot coals without getting burned.
Pandawa beach, surrounded by cliffs, is definitely a gem. Another interesting thing about this beach is that the cliffs are carved into the face statues of the Pandavas and Kunti devi. The statues include Kunti, Yudhishthira, and Bhima.

Padang Padang Beach is a breathtaking tropical paradise, renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, powdery white sand, and dramatic rocky cliffs. To reach Padang Padang Beach, visitors must pass through a unique cave-like entrance that opens up to reveal a picturesque cove embraced by towering cliffs. Padang Padang Beach’s allure has been further enhanced by its appearance in the movie “Eat, Pray, Love” starring Julia Roberts.
Locally known as Pantai Kelingking, it is an ideal seascape in Bali, with turquoise water bordered by white-colored sand. It has a uniquely shaped cliff and thus the name, Kelingking which means pinkie finger in English, just like a pinkie promise that assures definite views of beauty. It is ranked at the nineteenth position in the world’s best beach list. The view from the top of the cliff is undoubtedly the best thing about the place than the beach itself.
It is 200 meters of sand stretching along the west coast of Nusa Penida. Outlined by pine trees with coral reefs on the opposite shore, it is the place that we see in the movies.
