Kashmir: Tulips Special

• All transportation from Srinagar Airport to Srinagar Airport as per the itinerary. Final vehicle(s) will depend on group size. AC won’t be functional in the hills.

• Please note that in case the access road to Gulmarg (or any other place) in the itinerary happens to be covered by snow, then the cost of 4*4 vehicles hired to traverse the same has to be borne by the participants
• Any expense on any items/services which are personal such as driver tips, medicines, toiletries, sun protection creams, snacks, laundry, STD calls, etc
• Any extra expenses incurred due to delays arising from bad weather conditions or any unanticipated or uncontrollable conditions

• Any other expenses of any nature not included in the INCLUSIONS section

1. The group size will be limited to 24 participants + 1 trip leader
2. Please note that only postpaid connections work in Kashmir. Airtel, Jio, and BSNL work well. The coverage of Vodafone & Idea is limited to Srinagar only.
3. Please note that each houseboat has only 3-4 rooms and hence, to accommodate our group, we would be using multiple houseboats.
4. The cost of ATV ride in Gulmarg is roughly 2000 INR per person and lasts for 45-60 min. If you don’t want to ride, you can let the driver ride the ATV.
5. You can also choose to dress in traditional Kashmiri attire and go for a photoshoot in Aru Valley. The rough cost for the same would be 300-500 INR.
6. Please note that we don’t distribute any bottled water on any of our trips because of its negative impacts on the environment and health. It’s very easy to refill your water bottles in Kashmir with hot/ cold water at places of stay, restaurants, or tea shops. Hence, please carry your water bottle.
7. Please note that the hotel rooms may differ slightly from each other in terms of shape, size & view. If you are traveling with the group, please be mentally prepared.
8. Please note that the Gondola Ride is subject to weather conditions.
9. Visit to Chandanwari depends on whether the road is open or closed.
10. Please note that if you are booking this trip, you need to be flexible with the type of bedding in the rooms. It could be a double bed or twin beds. Majority of the hotels in Kashmir only have double beds. Also, we host couples and solo travelers both, in a single group, and we try our best to meet everyone’s requirements but availability becomes an issue in all hotels. Hope you understand the same. We won’t be able to entertain any twin/double bed-related issues during the trip.
11. Please note that, except for the houseboat stay, several of our selected hotels may require you to navigate a few steps, as not all establishments are equipped with lifts. In our meticulous selection process for hotels in Kashmir, our foremost priority is to ensure good standards of food excellence and impeccable hygiene. We recognize the common challenges faced by travelers concerning overly spicy or substandard menus in Kashmiri hotels. As a result, we have taken great care to handpick accommodations that have been thoroughly vetted and tested multiple times.
12. Srinagar usually sees heavy traffic during Tulip season. Hence, our Srinagar sightseeing itinerary could be shuffled a bit during the trip considering traffic situations.
13. Please note that Tulip Garden opens on 19 March, 2025 and our chosen dates usually experience the best bloom as per past trends. But because of fast-changing weather patterns and unpredictable global warming, the extent of Tulip blooms can never be confirmed beforehand on a certain date.

2. Participants have to show a little degree of flexibility during the tour
3. It’s the duty of participants to assess whether they are physically fit or not for the tour before joining it
4. Please note that neither we assign any seats in the vehicle nor do we take any special requests for that. Be it a first seat, window seat, or the last seat, we expect participants to be flexible with their choice considering the fact that it’s a group tour. Although, we encourage participants to shuffle seats with each other during the journey to support each other.
5. Transforming Travels reserves the right to modify the place of stay or the itinerary without any prior notice.
6. Every participant should be wearing a mask at all public places. Also, expected to carry a backup mask in case you lose one.
7. Every participant should carry a personal sanitizer and keep sanitizing their hands at regular intervals.
8. At the backend, we would also be conducting the temperature check of our driver, group leader, and guide.
9. Our accommodation partners sanitize the rooms and attached bathrooms before check-in. Common areas are sanitized on regular basis.
10. Temperature check is conducted for housekeeping and kitchen staff members every day by our accommodation partners.
11. The laws and customs of the areas we visit can be very different from those we are used to. Be aware of your actions to ensure that they do not offend, especially if you are visiting religious areas. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with and respect local laws and customs. If you fail to do so, we will have no liability to you for any cost, loss, or damage you suffer nor will we refund you the cost of any unused portion of your travel arrangements.
12. Please note that if a Government rule asks for a negative RT PCR test report for any places that are a part of our itinerary, then it’s your responsibility to get that test done & bring the report.
